Crime Prevention and Youth: What Role for the School?

2nd Annual Colloquium on Crime Prevention / Brussels, Belgium

 
ICPC held its second annual colloquium on November 25th 2002 on the topic of Crime Prevention and Youth: What Role for the School. The meeting was generously hosted by the Belgian government and was attended by over 150 invited participants: 48 ICPC representatives and guests from 17 countries, and more than 100 participants from Belgium.
 
During these 2 days, the following themes were discussed: the role of the police in school prevention; the role of parents and the community; developments in the use of restorative and mediation approaches in schools; and education in the law.
