Police training programs with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP)/ 2007 – 2010

ICPC, in partnership with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, set up a program entitled International Learning on the Go. The program consists of several targeted modules (e.g.: the role of the police in crime prevention, effective police/community practices for women’s safety, youth gangs, Indigenous-community relations, etc.), which were presented to a very wide audience across Canada,including high level representatives from police services, corrections, the judiciary, local decision-makers and community partners.
