This project, set up by the Assembly of Alternative Justice Organizations in Quebec (ROJAQ), ICPC and France’s National Network of Access to Law and Mediation (RENADEM), has the following objectives: 1. enabling representatives to create an overview of their current practices and of the evaluation of citizen mediation projects underway; 2. organizing the sharing of skills and comparison of practices among experts; 3. discussing the preferred strategies in each of the two territories; 4. reinforcing the Franco-Quebecois partnership in relation to the development of practices in the context of the training / implantation / evaluation triptych; 5. developing development strategies reinforced by international cooperation and optimizing the dissemination of information
In September 2009, ROJAQ accompanied a delegation of Quebecois mediators for a professional visit to Lyon and Marseille (France). In October, representatives of RENADEM came to Montreal to observe Quebecois social mediation practices.
