Tunisian delegation visit

From November 11 to 15 2013 , ICPC hosted a delegation from Tunis (Tunisia), made up of representatives from the police, the National Guard , Ministry of Interior and UNDP, working on the support of the Security Sector Reform project in Tunisia. The delegation visited the National Police Academy in Quebec (ENPQ ), the Sûreté du Québec (SQ ), the Police Service of the City of Repentigny, the City of Montreal Police (SPVM ) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

They also attended a mini-conference given by Mr. Christophe Soullez , Director of the National Observatory of Crime and Penal Responses (ONDRP, France) and a presentation by the Quebec Ministry of Public Safety. Finally, discussions were held with the Director of Tandem Hochelaga -Maisonneuve. These meetings helped them learn more about the different approaches to community policing in Quebec , allowing them to make recommendations when developing the Tunisian policy on the subject.
