Author(s) : CIPC

In September of 2016, ICPC took part in an expert group meeting at UNODC in Vienna to discuss the development of a crime prevention and substance abuse curriculum.

The objective of this project is to create opportunities for young people to learn life skills through sports so they can resist the influence of both phenomenon. This discussion group gathered experts from a dozen of institutions and with various profiles, connecting academics with those responsible for the implementation of prevention programs. Through the debate, essential aspects for an efficient prevention program through sports were identified.
