National Crime Prevention Strategy, Canada

New appointment


Lisanne Lacroix
was appointed Executive Director of the National Crime Prevention Centre on April 4, 2005. Ms Lacroix brings a wealth of experience to the National Crime Prevention Strategy in terms of her work in the area of community access programming. She has held former executive level positions within the Federal Government of Canada including Partnership and Policy Integration, Social Development Canada, and Industry Canada. She also has gained invaluable professional experience working for the government of Ontario, keeping in mind that in Canada, partnerships with provinces have a key role to play in the implementation of the country's National Crime Prevention Strategy.
