Hosted by the Ministry of the Interior, Chile, ICPC’s annual Colloquium this coming October will bring together representatives from national, regional and local government, the private sector, corporate social responsibility arena, the police, NGOs, and academia to discuss strategic partnerships for effective crime prevention, including the roles of the private sector.  Some of the issues examined include public and private collaboration, the proliferation of security technologies, the expansion and regulation of private security, and opportunities and challenges of engaging the private sector in crime prevention.
