Target audience:
The Institute will provide attendees with a unique in-depth learning experience, allowing them to build a solid network with others in the field. The group will include:
- Policy-makers, those responsible for the development and implementation of crime prevention policy and practice.
- Police chiefs, directors of local government services and other local organizations, high-level civil servants at the national, state or local level, magistrates, directors of schools and social services, and directors of crime prevention initiatives.
In 2006, ICPC’s 5-day training Institute will focus on the evolution of police-based crime prevention strategies, the development of new methods of intervention with youth, and the integration of crime prevention in urban development.
