New methodological guide on local diagnosis

ICPC launched new methodological guide on drugs and prostitution

The use and abuse of drugs, both legal and illegal, and prostitution are common practices in most cities around the world. When these practices occur in public spaces, they can generate a number of harmful effects. Communities tend to look first to their respective local authorities to respond appropriately.

With the support of ICPC, three cities, Bordeaux, Liege, and Montreal, have agreed to share their experiences on these issues. The first year of this exchange programme was devoted to developing a diagnosis of the problem effects. This has resulted in the publication of the Methodological Guide on the Diagnosis of Problems Related to Drugs and Prostitution. This guide is a practical tool developed to aid local actors in completing their own diagnosis of these phenomena.
