On May 15-26, 2006, the United Nations headquarters in New York will host the Fifth Session of the
United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues: The Millennium Development Goals and Indigenous Peoples: Re-defining the Millennium Development Goals. The Forum is an advisory board to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on issues of social development, culture, the environment, education, health, and human rights.
